- 1kg gladke moke
- 10dag kvasa
- 2,5dl mlačnega mleka
- 2 dl mlačne vode
- 2dl olja
- 1 žlička soli
- 2 žlički sladkorja
V posodici zagrejemo mleko in mu dodamo sladkor ter drobljen kvas. Medtem pripravimo moko z dodatkom soli in olja. Ko vzhaja kvas ga dodamo moki in dobro gnetemo.

I love homemade freshly baked croissants. They are really fast to make because we don´t need no leavening. It is also perfect for the ark, so you can simply put them in the microwave and eat them hot. I made them before work, so they were the perfect snack for me and my co-worker.
I make those croissants very often with one of my mother's recipe. This time, I tried another one from one website. Given the fact that the dough don´t rises they are still very soft.
For the dough we need:
- 1kg plain flour
- 10dag of yeast
- 2,5 dl lukewarm milk
- 2 dl lukewarm water
- 2dl oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Heat the milk in a bowl and add sugar and crushed yeast. Meanwhile, prepare the flour with salt and oil. When yeast rise enough add to flour and knead well. Gradually add warm water to become a mixture, which does not stick to fingers and the dough is just right soft. Cut dough in smaller pieces, roll out into a circle and cut triangles. I made some bigger croissants and some smaller (I divided the circle into 8 pieces and for smaller croissants at 12). You can fill them with ham, cheese or garnish on the top.
Menwhile heat the oven to 200 degrees and coat the croissants with egg and (optionally) sprinkle with some poppy seed, sesame. Bake for about 15 minutes to become beautiful browning.
